My photography is about remember my childhood in a different manner. I begin thinking about the Saturday morning cleanings, playing dress-up, holidays spent at home and the endless family dinners. But when I go home now, it is cold and empty. While the stacks of stuff gets higher over time and each footstep I take echoes as you walk through the house, I begin to set up the camera. Between the adjusting and moving around the room to find the perfect angle; I hear the creaking in the floor boards. It brings the memories of sneaking around down the stairs and rollerblading in the kitchen with my sisters. Then I cock the shutter and take a moment to think about blessed I really am. Once I release the cable its like the emotions inside have released as well. My work represents a lifeless film-still from my childhood.
